Hollywood Cancels Self. Let’s Accelerate it!
I believe in LOOR’s vision that “Christian Movies Shouldn’t Suck” and their goal to “Cancel Hollywood”.
I’ve been a subscriber for over a month now and it’s exciting to see how God is working to build this platform to elevate the quality of Christian movies and TV series (with so many more waiting in the wings – link below), and the numbers and enthusiasm of the subscribers grows every week! And the more new subscribers come in, the more Loor plays a part to “Cancel Hollywood”.
Seems like an arrogant thing to say, let alone, to do, doesn’t it? “Cancel Hollywood”. But the faithful people at Loor know that it is not they who will Cancel Hollywood, but God. And God does writes the best stories. Right now, the story is being written before our eyes. The WGA strike has halted many productions in Hollywood. Many actors walk in solidarity with the writers. And if SAG contract negotiations fail tonight, how many more productions will stop? “Cancel Hollywood” isn’t too far off. They’re already cancelling themselves!
Loor going Live a month ago couldn’t have come at a better time. While Hollywood has come to a crawl, Loor is poised to fill the vacuum. And that vacuum can be filled with professional Christians in the industry who have been shackled with the golden manacles of Hollywood.
